WASH/IPC Guidelines
Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services in healthcare facilities are essential for improving quality of care within the context of Universal Health Coverage. Universal Health Coverage is a global health priority and part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).At ACHAP, we take lead in supporting our members in improving and maintaining WASH services in health care facilities as a critical element for achieving health aims linked to infection prevention and control, and maternal, newborn, and child health. The following WASH/IPC guidelines will be useful in achieving quality WASH/IPC practices in Healthcare facilities.
