WASH/IPC Tools

Providing adequate Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in Health Care Facilities (HCFs) has many benefits, including achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Universal Health Coverage (UHC). However, there is a significant shortage of statistics on the status of WASH in Healthcare Facilities (WinHCF), resulting in roadblocks in developing improvement strategies. At ACHAP, we take pride in offering practical guides for improving the quality of care through water, sanitation and hygiene in health care facilities

The tools can be used in various ways:

  1. To lead sector-level change processes to ensure sustainable WASH services
  2. To analyse what’s working and what’s not in the current system
  3. To design solutions to specific service delivery challenges
