WASH/IPC Guidelines
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services in healthcare facilities are essential for improving quality of care within the context of Universal Health Coverage. Universal Health Coverage is a global health priority and part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). At ACHAP, we take lead in supporting our members in improving and maintaining WASH services in health care facilities as a critical element for achieving health aims linked to infection prevention and control, and maternal, newborn, and child health. The following WASH/IPC guidelines will be useful in achieving quality WASH/IPC practices in Healthcare facilities.
